As Vice President Engineering, Phil Menary is responsible for the technology architecture of all LiveHive products. In this capacity, Menary has design ownership of the technical solutions generated by the development team, and manages the testing and integration efforts of the company.

Menary has extensive experience in software development. Prior to LiveHive, he was Technical Advisor at Tech Capital where he provided expertise to Tech Capital’s portfolio companies. In this role Menary helped technical teams achieve their business goals, meet critical timelines and develop innovative and quality-driven solutions.  Before joining the team at Tech Capital, Menary was Vice President of Software Development at Diskstream, one of Tech Capital’s portfolio companies.

Previously, Menary was Director of Software Development at RSS Solutions, where he helped migrate their client/server based solution to an n-tiered enterprise solution and was instrumental in arranging for a successful corporate acquisition by a larger U.S. firm. He has also held positions as a Technical Specialist at Sun Life and as Director of Software Development for CheckFree Corp.

Menary holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario.
