LiveHive Systems Inc. is a new and growing company developing cutting-edge technology for the interactive entertainment industry. Based in Waterloo, Ontario, LiveHive’s technology combines the pure entertainment of television, with the excitement of video gaming and the social aspects of the internet. We are seeking energetic candidates to act as data operators for live television events to support delivery of our innovative real-time event software platform. The LiveHive Broadcast Control Center is located at 100 Lodge Street in Waterloo, on the edge of the Wilfrid Laurier University campus.
Position Summary
The position of Event Administrator is a Full-Time Contract position responsible for viewing of live television events and data entry of episode details in real-time. The LiveHive Broadcast Control Center supports event monitoring of a variety of entertainment events as they happen: reality and game shows, dramas, sporting events and more.
Event Administrators are responsible for monitoring the who, when, where, and what related to the show’s content. Creativity and an extreme attention to detail are critical to the role. This position requires someone who is passionate about television shows and has a deep understanding of a wide variety of television entertainment. Candidates must be willing to work evening shifts four days per week for June, July, August, and the first two weeks of September.
Opportunities exist for this role to grow towards a Permanent Full-Time position at the LiveHive Broadcast Control Center. This role may also act as an entry point into the LiveHive organization for individuals interested in software development, marketing, and operations roles.

- Accurate and quick keyboarding skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Education: College/University (current or in process)
- Willingness to work evening shifts four days per week for June, July, August, and the first two weeks of September
