We are seeking energetic candidates ready to create the next generation of community-based distributed entertainment.

Position Summary
The successful candidate will have responsibility for generating sales of LiveHive’s real-time event prediction software solution to online entertainment and Fantasy sites. Additional responsibilities will include gathering industry-specific intelligence, initiating client dialogue, negotiating terms, account monitoring, and selling large contracts.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development, the successful candidate will become a key member of the sales team, both in terms of gathering market intelligence and generating sales opportunities.  The ideal candidate will be able to quickly open the door for product demonstrations, and follow the process through the contract negotiation and closing phases with support from senior members of the LiveHive sales team. They will be a technically savvy and dynamic individual that can quickly build contacts in the interactive entertainment and Media industries to meet LiveHive’s goals for its real-time event prediction software platform.  Experience in selling and managing complex sales processes is essential, sales experience within the software industry is highly desirable.

LiveHive Systems offers a very rewarding compensation structure, including a base salary, stock options and a sales bonus for meeting the defined sales targets.

 
Responsibilities

  • Previous experience managing a six month to one year sales cycle selling software and or software licensing deals to large corporations in the  $100k+ range.
  • Previous experience managing sales quotas in excess of $1M.
  • Establish decision-maker level relationships with top web portal and TV broadcast companies
  • Negotiate contract terms and close deals with target clients
  • Track sales performance and keep forecasts up to date
  • Assist in the planning of future sales strategies
  • Seek and Investigate new routes to market
  • Coordinate with, and provide market feedback to internal teams
  • Provide market feedback to product team for product improvments
  • Attend industry tradeshows and conferences
  • Formal sales training desirable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Motivated performance based individual
  • Able to travel world wide as required
  • A passion for sports, entertainment, and emerging technologies is highly desirable
  • Proven sales track record including lead generation, sales presentations, and contract negotiations
  • Strong English communication skills (facilitation, interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to assess task progress against targets and take corrective action as needed to ensure goals are met
